Welcome to Hockering Church of England VC Primary School's website.

Hockering Primary School is a small village school set in rural Norfolk. The school has a very friendly, family atmosphere, where all pupils and staff know each other well. Our pupils are happy, enthusiastic, independent and well behaved. Our small, mixed-age classes enable children to receive a personalised education which is appropriate to their ability and not constrained by their age.

The staff, governors and Church are fully commited to ensuring that our pupils receive an education of the highest standard, and that they are able to make a positive contribution to the life of the school within a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment.

We have worked in partnership with St Peter's Primary School in Easton and Great Witchingham Primary since September 2010. This is proving to be very successful and provides opportunities for the three schools to share learning, resources and staff expertise, while preserving the unique identity of Hockering Primary School.

We naturally include parents in the life of the school, providing time for them to visit the classroom and to take part in their children’s learning. The support and involvement of parents and the community ensures that we are a genuine community school, of which we can be justly proud.

We hope your child has a happy and profitable time at our school. This website is to help you know more about the life and work of Hockering C of E VC Primary School.
